Community Connection: We love as God loves because we are a part of God’s family.

Bud is a baby African elephant—a calf. The name “Bud” is a form of the word “buddy” or “brother.” Baby African elephants and adults follow a single matriarch—the oldest and most knowledgeable female animal in that group. The unity within a family is a constant source of care, affection, and communication. Elephants show affection by touching and petting each other with their trunks.

Community Connection: We follow Jesus as a community of friends.

Meerkats care for others by allowing different species such as the yellow mongoose and ground squirrel to live in their underground burrows. Meerkats have developed tight-knit societies that consistently display random acts of kindness.

Community Connection: We care for others.

A newborn giraffe calf stays close to its mother and then joins a group of other young giraffes called a crèche.

Community Connection: We share our faith with the whole community of believers.

God’s Great Get-Together

Baobab Blast is an open invitation to be a part of God’s Great Get-Together. Set under the impressive baobab tree, kids will have the opportunity to hear the Word, be amazed at God’s wildlife creations, and be a part of a supportive community.

This will be a life-changing experience for your kids as you gather together as a community and grow in faith. As the sun rises and sets on the savannah, so, too, will faith and relationships grow as kids explore connections with God, family, friends, and others around the world. Get ready to experience the most amazing community get-together under the sun.
